EMEET SmartCam C960 Review

EMEET SmartCam C960 dual-resolution webcam offering 2K30 or 1080p60 autofocus video with dual built-in microphones and a slide privacy cover.

EMEET made its name on budget conferencing speakerphones before moving into webcams, and the C960 reflects that mic-first heritage: its dual-microphone array is unusually strong for the price, even if the lens optics don't quite match pricier rivals.

Overview

The C960 switches between a sharper 2K30 mode and a smoother 1080p60 mode, pairing either with a dual-microphone array inherited from EMEET's conferencing speaker lineup.

Comparison to Alternatives

Against the AVerMedia PW315, both offer dual-resolution modes, but the C960's audio array is noticeably stronger thanks to EMEET's speakerphone background, while the PW315 wins on wider FOV. Compared with the NexiGo N960E, the C960 adds a genuine 2K mode that the N960E's 1080p-only sensor can't match.
