Enermax LIQTECH TR4 Review

Enermax LIQTECH TR4 360mm AIO liquid cooler built specifically for AMD Threadripper sTRX4/TR4 sockets, full-IHS-coverage cold plate, 3x ARGB fans, 500W TDP rating, HEDT-specific design.

Standard AIO cold plates cover only the center of a Threadripper's oversized IHS, leaving the edges undercooled, LIQTECH TR4 solves that with a cold plate sized to cover the full HEDT die area, letting it actually use the extra silicon heat-spreader surface Threadripper CPUs offer instead of wasting most of it.

Comparison to Alternatives

There's nothing else in this catalog built specifically for sTRX4/TR4, mainstream AM5/LGA1700 coolers like the Corsair iCUE Link Titan 360 RX physically won't mount or won't cover the die properly on Threadripper. Against a repurposed mainstream 360mm AIO with a TR4 bracket kit, LIQTECH TR4's full-coverage cold plate is the entire reason to pick a HEDT-specific cooler over a mainstream one.
