Finalmouse Starlight-12 Review
The Finalmouse Starlight-12 is an ultra-premium, sub-45g magnesium-alloy flagship, one of the most hyped and lightest mice in the category, built from a magnesium shell rather than the plastic used by nearly every competitor.
A magnesium-alloy shell is genuinely uncommon in the gaming mouse category, achieving a sub-45g weight that plastic shells struggle to match while maintaining structural rigidity. Against the Finalmouse UltralightX, covered elsewhere on this site, both push toward the lowest weights in the category, with this Starlight-12 using magnesium construction specifically. Against the ASUS ROG Keris II Ace, also covered elsewhere on this site, both compete at the top of the ultralight esports tier from different materials and price points.
