Fujitsu FMV-AC343A AC Adapter for Fujitsu FMV LIFEBOOK AH Review

Fujitsu FMV-AC343A 90W AC adapter for the FMV LIFEBOOK AH77, AH53/G2, AH45/H1, AH45/H2, AH43/H2 and 2020 to 2021 AH models.

FMV-AC343A is Fujitsu's 90W class adapter (19V 4.74A) for the higher power LIFEBOOK AH models: AH77/G2, AH77/H2, AH53/G2, AH45/H1, AH45/H2 and AH43/H2, plus the 2020 to 2021 AH77/E3, AH53/E3, AH50/E3, AH43/E3 and AH53/F3. Fujitsu's option pages confirm the model assignments. The output and the 5.5 x 2.5mm plug are seller data. Sellers also list A13-090P2A as its OEM code. Because sellers list it at the same 19V and plug as the 65W FMV-AC332A, it should also run the 65W models.

Fitment answer

OEM confirmed for the models below, per Fujitsu's option pages 2010, 2206, 2301 and 2311. Fujitsu lists it as equivalent to the adapter in the box.

The 90W, 19V 4.74A output and 5.5 x 2.5mm plug come from seller listings, not Fujitsu.

Which laptops this fits

2022 to 2023: AH77/G2, AH77/H2, AH53/G2, AH45/H1, AH45/H2 and AH43/H2.

2020 to 2021: AH77/E3, AH53/E3, AH50/E3, AH43/E3 and AH53/F3.

Full FMVA codes are in the specification table above.

Connector and wattage checks

The AH45 changed adapters mid run. Fujitsu's 2022 page puts the AH45/G2 on the 65W FMV-AC332A, while the 2023 pages put the AH45/H1, AH45/H2 and AH43/H2 on this 90W unit. Both share the 19V barrel per sellers, so either fits physically.

Voltage must match exactly, wattage is a floor. This 90W unit can run a 65W machine. A 65W unit on a machine listed here can fail to charge under load.

The laptops have a Type-C port, but we have not confirmed USB-C charging from Fujitsu.

Genuine vs third party

Fujitsu sells FMV-AC343A as a genuine option. Sellers list A13-090P2A as its OEM code. Fujitsu does not publish whether its barrel adapters carry an ID signal, so a third party unit's behaviour is unknown.

A third party replacement needs 19V, at least 4.74A, and a 5.5 x 2.5mm plug. We would buy the genuine one.

If this is not yours

Read the part number printed on the adapter you are replacing and the model code on your laptop's label. If neither appears on this page, this is not your part.

Own an AH50/G2, AH50/H1, AH50/H3, AH53/H2 or AH45/G2? FMV-AC332A is the listed adapter. Own the AH-X/D3? Look at FMV-AC323B. For everything else, browse our full laptop parts catalog at /laptop-parts.

FAQs

Can I use this 90W adapter on a LIFEBOOK that came with 65W?

Yes, as long as the voltage and plug match. Sellers list both FMV-AC343A and FMV-AC332A at 19V with a 5.5 x 2.5mm plug, and higher wattage at the same voltage is safe.

Why does my laptop say plugged in, not charging?

Check you are not running a 90W class model on a 65W adapter. A lower wattage adapter can power the laptop at idle and refuse to charge under load, which looks like a battery fault.

Can I charge my LIFEBOOK AH over USB-C instead?

We have not confirmed it. The laptops have a Type-C port, but Fujitsu's pages we read do not state its charging rating. Use the barrel adapter until Fujitsu confirms.

What is A13-090P2A?

Sellers list A13-090P2A as the OEM code for FMV-AC343A. If your dead adapter shows A13-090P2A, this is the match per seller data.
