HP EliteBook 840 G5, 14-inch business laptop from 2018 with Intel Core i5-8250U, FHD IPS anti-glare display (220 nits, 67% sRGB), two DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM slots up to 32GB and a 50Wh 3-cell battery.
Both RAM slots on the 840 G5 are user accessible. HP also sold 400 nit FHD, 4K and touch display options, each with different panels, so check what is fitted before ordering a screen.
Replacement parts
Battery: HP SS03XL (spare 933321-855), shared with the 840 G6. FHD non-touch screen: AUO B140HAN04.0 or Innolux N140HCG-GQ2 (30-pin, no brackets).
