Intel Core 7 360 Review

Intel Core 7 360 laptop processor: 6 cores (2P + 4 LP-E), 6 threads, up to 4.8 GHz, 6 MB cache, Intel Graphics with 2 Xe-cores up to 2.6 GHz, 17 TOPS NPU, 15 W base power, 35 W max turbo, Intel 18A, single-channel DDR5-6400 or LPDDR5X-7467, Intel SIPP, Core Series 3 (Wildcat Lake).

The Intel Core 7 360 is a 6-core, 6-thread laptop processor from Intel's Core Series 3 family (codename Wildcat Lake), launched in 2026. It boosts up to 4.8 GHz, has 6 MB of cache, Intel Graphics with 2 Xe-cores and a 17 TOPS NPU in a 15 W base power envelope. It matches the Core 7 350 on clocks and adds Intel Stable IT Platform Program support, so it is aimed at business laptops.

What the Core 7 360 is

The Core 7 360 is the business version of the top Wildcat Lake chip, built on the Intel 18A process and soldered to the motherboard. It has 2 performance cores that boost to 4.8 GHz and 4 low-power efficient cores that reach 3.6 GHz, 6 threads in total, the same as the Core 7 350. What Intel adds is support for the Intel Stable IT Platform Program (SIPP), which helps IT teams keep a stable platform across a fleet of laptops. It supports up to 64 GB of DDR5-6400 or LPDDR5X-7467 memory on one channel, Thunderbolt 4 and PCIe 4.0.

Performance in everyday use

Office suites, browsers, video meetings and cloud tools feel quick thanks to the 4.8 GHz boost on the performance cores, and the low-power cores keep background work efficient. Six threads and a 35 W turbo limit mean heavy jobs such as big spreadsheets with heavy recalculation, video exports or code builds are slower than on chips with 10 or more cores. It suits typical office and field work well.

Graphics and AI

Intel Graphics with 2 Xe-cores at up to 2.6 GHz supports up to 3 displays at up to 4K 60 Hz and AV1 encode and decode, which covers docking stations and video conferencing. It is not built for gaming beyond very light titles. The 17 TOPS NPU runs Windows Studio Effects such as background blur and voice focus, but Copilot+ PC features need 40 TOPS or more.

Comparison to Alternatives

The Core 7 150U and Core i5-1334U that it follows in business laptops have more cores and threads and a higher turbo power limit, while the 360 adds an NPU and a newer process. AMD's Ryzen 7 250 has 8 cores, 16 threads and stronger Radeon 780M graphics, and the Ryzen 5 230 has 12 threads. The Core Ultra 5 225U is a step up with 12 cores and 4 Xe-cores. The comparison pages below show each spec side by side.

Should you buy a laptop with it?

It is a good fit for a company or school laptop where IT management and a stable platform matter and the work is office apps, browsers and calls. Choose 16 GB of memory or more because the chip uses a single memory channel. For personal use the Core 7 350 gives the same speed, and heavier users should consider a Ryzen 7 250 or Core Ultra 5 laptop.
