Jabra PanaCast 180-degree panoramic 4K camera that stitches three lenses into one wide feed with virtual pan-tilt-zoom for intelligent huddle-room video conferencing.

The PanaCast's three-lens stitched panorama was genuinely novel when Jabra launched it: instead of one lens with a wide-but-flat field of view, three sensors combine into a distortion-corrected 180-degree image that software can then virtually pan and zoom into, following whoever is speaking without a single moving part. It needs a companion speakerphone since it has no built-in mic, but as a pure camera for irregular-shaped huddle spaces it remains a distinctive engineering approach.

Three Lenses, One Seamless Image

Rather than a fisheye lens that distorts edges, PanaCast's image-stitching algorithm blends three separate sensors into one panorama, giving software-driven virtual PTZ without any motors to fail.

Comparison to Alternatives

Against the Logitech Rally Camera, a mechanical PTZ system, the PanaCast has zero moving parts and can "look" in multiple directions simultaneously via software, but needs a paired speakerphone since it carries no microphone. It targets a different room shape than the Yealink UVC30's narrower zoom-based coverage.
