Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL05 Review
Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL05 (machine type 81X8) with a Core i5-1135G7, 8GB DDR4 (4GB soldered plus one SO-DIMM), 256GB NVMe SSD, a 15.6-inch 1920x1080 IPS panel rated at 250 nits and a 45Wh battery.
A budget 11th Gen Intel laptop that is easy to open. Lenovo sold it with five different screens (HD TN, HD TN touch, FHD TN, FHD IPS and FHD IPS touch) and with either a 35Wh 2-cell or 45Wh 3-cell battery, so check the label on your old panel or battery before ordering parts.
Screen replacement
Non-touch FHD panels are 30-pin eDP. Lenovo lists FRU 5D11D20659 (LG Display LP156WFC-SPD8, FHD IPS) and FRU 5D10R41287 (BOE NT156FHM-N61, FHD TN) among the panels for machine type 81X8. The FHD TN panel is rated 220 nits against 250 nits for the IPS panel.
Battery replacement
Lenovo lists a 2-cell 35Wh battery (5B10M86149 family, including L16C2PB1 and L16L2PB3 packs) and a 3-cell 11.1V 45Wh battery (5B10X02602 family) for the 81X8. The 35Wh models have room for a 2.5-inch drive; 45Wh models do not.
