Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 5 Review

Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 5 with Core Ultra 7 155U, 16GB soldered LPDDR5X in a 1.24kg business chassis.

Lenovo's slim T-series business laptop, keeping the ThinkPad keyboard and durability testing in a lighter soldered-memory chassis.

Overview

The T14s Gen 5 continues Lenovo's slim business line on Meteor Lake U silicon with a single soldered memory configuration and one M.2 slot.

Expert rating7.5 / 10

The T14s Gen 5 trims the ThinkPad T14 down to 1.24 kg, with a Core Ultra 7 155U, 16GB of LPDDR5X and a 14-inch 1920x1080 IPS display. Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6E make it a tidy fit for business travelers who want ThinkPad durability.

The memory is soldered at 16GB, so anyone who might need more should look at the standard T14. There is a single M.2 slot already filled by the 512GB drive, graphics are integrated, and the panel is a 60Hz IPS screen.
