Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Gen Review
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Gen (2018, machine types 20KH and 20KG) with a Core i5-8250U, 8GB soldered LPDDR3, 256GB NVMe SSD, a 14-inch 1920x1080 IPS panel rated at 300 nits and a 57Wh internal battery.
Memory is soldered, but the M.2 SSD, the 57Wh battery and the display panel are all replaceable. Lenovo offered FHD non-touch, FHD on-cell touch, WQHD and HDR WQHD panels; the FHD non-touch panel uses a 30-pin connector while the touch, WQHD and HDR panels use 40-pin connectors, so check the label on your old panel before ordering.
Screen replacement
Lenovo lists FRU 00NY435 (AUO B140HAN03.1) and 00NY436 (BOE NV140FHM-N61) for the FHD non-touch panel, 01ER483 (AUO B140HAK02.3) for FHD touch, 00NY664 (LG Display LP140QH2-SPB1) for WQHD, and 00NY679 (AUO B140QAN02.0) for the 500-nit HDR WQHD option.
Battery replacement
The internal battery is the 3-cell 57Wh 01AV430 FRU family (also sold as 01AV429, 01AV431 and 01AV494), shared with the X1 Carbon 5th Gen.
