If you're managing eight DVI machines from a single console - a small server room or a multi-PC test bench - the Lindy 8 Port DVI-I Single Link USB 2.0 & Audio KVM Switch Pro (39317) is built for exactly that scale.

It's the largest port-count Lindy KVM switch we've covered here, still capped at 1920x1200 since it's DVI-I single-link rather than dual-link or HDMI, but that resolution ceiling is a non-issue for server console access and admin work.

Switching at Scale

With 8 ports you get front-panel push buttons, keyboard hotkeys, and an Auto Scan mode that cycles through connected machines automatically - handy for a monitoring wall. DDC-based EDID emulation keeps displays from having to renegotiate resolution on every switch.

What's Not in the Box

Lindy doesn't bundle any cables with this one - you'll need to source your own DVI, USB A-to-B, and 3.5mm audio cables for each of the 8 connected PCs, which adds real cost on top of the switch price. The all-metal chassis and rack-friendly width (40.7in) fit a server room over a desk.
