For sharing one monitor between a desktop HDMI PC and a USB-C laptop, the Lindy 2 Port HDMI 18G, USB Type C, USB 2.0 & Audio Cable KVM Switch (42347) is built for that exact mixed-input pairing.

One input is a standard HDMI connection for a desktop tower, the other is USB-C for a laptop or tablet, so this is the switch to reach for if your two machines don't share the same video output type.

Mixed-Source Switching

It supports the same three switching methods as Lindy's other cable switches - push button (on a 1.5m cable so it can sit within reach), hotkey, and software - and it drives full 4K60 UHD out to the shared monitor regardless of which of the two mixed inputs is active.

Build

It shares its 97 x 25 x 82.18mm plastic housing with the 42344 DisplayPort cable switch, is bus-powered off USB, and includes the same 1.2m integrated connection cables rather than separate ones you could lose.
