The NH-D12L takes Noctua's NH-D12 dual-tower core and reshapes the front tower so it clears tall memory heatspreaders without a second fan blocking the DIMM slots. You still get the same 6-heatpipe cold plate and a single NF-A12x25r pushing air through both towers, so cooling lands close to a full D15 despite the shorter 145mm stack height.
