For an NZXT case fan that isn't chasing RGB, the F120Q is their dedicated quiet variant, built for people who bought an H-series case and just want it to run silently.

We'd use it to replace stock fans in an H5 or H7 build where the goal is low idle noise rather than maximum airflow or looks.

Quiet-First Tuning

The Q variant caps max RPM lower than NZXT's F120P and F120 RGB Core fans and uses softer blade geometry to prioritize a low noise floor over headline airflow numbers.
