Panasonic CF-VZSU1PJS battery pack (S) for the Let's note CF-FV1, FV3 and FV4.
CF-VZSU1PJS is the standard S pack for the Let's note FV line: 3 cell, 11.55V, 2543mAh, about 29.4Wh by our calculation. Panasonic's spec pages for FV1FDSQR, FV3JDTCR and FV4CDTCR show it as the standard battery. Black body owners should buy CF-VZSU1RJS. If you want longer runtime, the L pack CF-VZSU1QJS fits the same FV models at the same voltage. It does not fit the CF-SV line.

It does not fit the CF-SV line, which uses the 4 cell and 6 cell CF-VZSU1CJS and CF-VZSU1DJS.
What to check before you buy
Body colour decides the part number. CF-VZSU1PJS is for silver and black-and-silver bodies; CF-VZSU1RJS is the black body version.
The L pack CF-VZSU1QJS shares the 3 cell, 11.55V layout and nearly doubles the rated mAh, at about 0.30kg against 0.20kg for this pack.

Safety and handling
If the pack looks swollen, bulges the case or lifts the keyboard or touchpad, stop using the laptop and stop charging it. Do not puncture, bend or press on it.
New lithium packs ship at partial charge because transport rules cap how charged a battery can be in transit. A pack that arrives low is normal, not faulty.
Recycle the old pack at an electronics or battery drop-off point. Never mail a used or swollen battery back to a seller.
Age and condition
Panasonic sells this pack new through its own store. We found no published date code policy.
Ask any seller for the manufacture date before you pay. A pack that sat in storage for years can arrive below its rated capacity.

Can I fit a higher capacity pack in my Let's note FV?
Yes. Panasonic lists the L pack CF-VZSU1QJS (3 cell, 11.55V, 4786mAh, about 55.3Wh by our calculation) for the FV1, FV3 and FV4. It weighs about 0.30kg against 0.20kg for this S pack.
Why does my Let's note say the battery is not genuine?
We have not found Panasonic documentation on how Let's note firmware treats a non Panasonic pack. CF-VZSU1PJS is the genuine part, so buying it avoids the question.
Why did my new battery arrive at 30 percent?
Lithium packs have to ship partly charged under transport rules, so a low reading on arrival is expected. Fit it, charge it to full on the laptop's own adapter, and judge runtime only after a full cycle.
