The Pengo 4K HDMI Grabber shows up on B&H and Amazon as a budget alternative to the Elgato Cam Link 4K, accepting a 4K HDMI signal and looping it out to a monitor while recording at up to 1080p60 over USB 3.0.

It's genuinely one of the better-reviewed devices in the sub-$50 capture dongle tier, with reviewers noting decent build quality for the price, but it still can't touch a real 4K capture card since actual recording tops out at 1080p60 and there's no HDCP support, so copy-protected sources won't work at all.
