Vertiv Cybex SC800 Secure Review
The Vertiv Cybex SC800 Secure SC820DPH-400 is an 8-port NIAP PP 3.0 certified secure KVM switch with DisplayPort and HDMI video up to 4K@30Hz.
It's the DisplayPort/HDMI counterpart to the SC840DVI-400 in the same certified line, and actually cheaper - reflecting that DP/HDMI switching silicon has become less expensive than legacy DVI paths at the volumes Vertiv now ships.
Modern Video on a Certified Switch
Newer server and workstation hardware has largely moved off DVI, and the SC820DPH-400 lets a certified secure desk keep pace with 4K DisplayPort/HDMI outputs instead of forcing DVI adapters onto every connected machine.
Lower Cost Than the DVI Sibling
