Buy the HP EliteBook 1040 G11 for executive/road warrior use, though it is not the pick for RAM upgraders. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura is the one to take for buyers who want the lightest ThinkPad X1 Carbon config and office and document work where 16GB is genuinely enough, though it is the wrong buy for anyone who wants to add RAM or storage later and buyers who want an OLED or touch panel.
