Who each one is for
Buy the Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 for 1080p gaming at high settings in current titles and buyers who want more GPU headroom without changing chassis, though it is the wrong buy for long unplugged gaming sessions and buyers who need Thunderbolt or WiFi 6E/7. The same goes for anyone planning a full RAM swap rather than an add-a-stick upgrade. It is not the one for anyone who wants a free RAM slot out of the box. The MSI Katana 15 HX B14WGK suits esports players prioritizing 144Hz over 4K resolution, though it is not the pick for buyers who need Thunderbolt or an external GPU dock. It also earns its place with 1080p gamers who want RTX 50-series graphics at a mainstream price. Avoid it for anyone who plans to add a second storage drive later, only one M.2 slot.
What Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 and MSI Katana 15 HX B14WGK have in common
