Who each one is for
The Acer Nitro VG272U suits budget-conscious gamers wanting high refresh QHD and first upgrade from 1080p/60Hz displays, though it is the wrong buy for buyers wanting full stand ergonomics and HDR content viewers. it is not built for buyers wanting OLED contrast and near-instant response time and competitive esports players wanting refresh rates above 144Hz. It also earns its place with 4K gamers wanting HDMI 2.1 connectivity and a KVM-capable USB-C hub without OLED pricing. Our rating of the Acer Nitro VG272U (7.5/10): A genuinely fast budget QHD gaming monitor that sacrifices ergonomics and HDR to hit an aggressive price point.
