Who each one is for
The AMD Ryzen 5 7530U is the one to take for budget thin-and-light laptops for work and school and office work, browsing, streaming and video calls, though it is the wrong buy for modern games without a dedicated GPU and copilot+ PC AI features, since it has no NPU. It is the wrong buy for heavy video rendering or 3D work, where newer and higher-core chips finish much sooner. Buy the Intel Core i5-1235U for budget, business and refurbished thin-and-light laptops and office work, browsing, video calls and streaming, though it is not the pick for gaming beyond older or light titles at low settings. It is not the one for heavy video rendering or code compiling, where H-series chips finish sooner.
