Elgato Facecam vs Logitech C925e Business: Comparison
Elgato Facecam vs Logitech C925e Business: the resolution difference
The first real difference is resolution: Elgato Facecam 1080p60 against Logitech C925e Business 1080p30. Primary use case is not the same on both, Streaming, Content Creation on the Elgato Facecam versus Business Video Conferencing on the Logitech C925e Business.
Which should you buy, Elgato Facecam or Logitech C925e Business?
Take the Elgato Facecam for streamers who want a consistent, non-hunting image without autofocus pulsing during broadcasts. This webcam's fixed focus and Sony sensor directly serve that priority. Avoid it for buyers who move around frequently and need active autofocus to stay in focus. A model with active autofocus covered elsewhere on this site better serves that need. Buy the Logitech C925e Business for individual desk users needing reliable business-grade video and older business laptops that benefit from on-board H.264 encoding, though it is not the pick for small conference rooms needing a wider field of view and streamers or gamers wanting higher frame rates. Our rating of the Elgato Facecam (7/10): A streaming webcam whose genuine Sony sensor and fixed-focus design deliver a more consistent, distraction-free image than many pricier competitors with hunting autofocus. Our rating of the Logitech C925e Business (7/10): A well-rounded personal business webcam whose on-board encoding and privacy shutter earn it a place on corporate desk-refresh lists.
