Apple A1496 Replacement Battery Review
Apple A1496 replacement battery, the 7.6V pack for the MacBook Air 13-inch A1466 from Mid 2012 through 2017. Apple rates the 2017 model's built-in battery at 54 watt-hours.
The A1466 Air was sold for six years with the same battery footprint. iFixit sells a single replacement listed under the A1496, A1405 and A1377 codes that covers every A1466 year and the older A1369, so the code on your old pack matters less than the A1466 on the case.
How to confirm the fit
Read the bottom case: Model A1466 is the 13-inch MacBook Air from Mid 2012 to 2017. The 2018 and later Retina Air (A1932, A2179) and the M1 Air (A2337) use different batteries.
