Dell 3HWPP Replacement Battery Review
Dell 3HWPP replacement battery, the 15.2V 68Wh four-cell option for the Latitude 5400/5500 family, the highest voltage of the three packs sold for this chassis group.
Overvolting the charge circuit with this pack in a machine expecting the 7.6V or 11.4V options pushes the controller past its designed cell count. Confirm the printed code before swapping.
What to check before you buy
The 3HWPP shares a case footprint with the 4GVMP and R8D7N but is not electrically interchangeable with either. All three are sold under the same Latitude model names.
