Dell 6GTPY replacement battery, the extended 97Wh 6-cell pack Dell ships in the XPS 15 9550 through 9570 and the matching Precision 55-series mobile workstations.
We would recommend checking the drive bay before ordering this pack over the smaller H5H20. The 97Wh cell count takes up the 2.5 inch hard drive bay, so it is not compatible with a chassis that still carries a spinning drive.
What to check before you buy
The same XPS 15 chassis ships with both this 97Wh six-cell pack and the smaller 56Wh H5H20. Only the smaller pack leaves the drive bay free. Confirm which one your machine currently has fitted before assuming the bigger number is the better buy.
