The Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 pairs a Core i5-13420H with a 95W GeForce RTX 4050 behind a 15.6in 1920x1080 IPS panel at 144Hz, in a 2.4kg chassis fed by a 170W adapter.
The configuration that matters here is the memory and storage layout. Lenovo fits two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots with nothing soldered, and two M.2 slots, one 2242 and one 2280, both PCIe 4.0 x4. Nothing in this machine is sealed.
This is the opposite of a modern thin and light, and that is the point. It is thick, it weighs 2.4kg, and every part of it that matters can be replaced.

A plain gaming laptop that gets the boring decisions right. Two memory slots, two M.2 slots, nothing soldered, and a 144Hz panel that the RTX 4050 can actually drive at 1080p.
Buy the 8GB version only if you intend to add the second module immediately. Out of the box it is running single channel, which costs real frame rates on a machine with a discrete GPU.
