This is LG's entry point into curved ultrawide gaming, and it's a smart one: you get the immersive 21:9 aspect ratio and a tight 1900R curve without paying OLED or Nano IPS prices. 160Hz is plenty fast for the resolution, and the extra horizontal real estate makes side-by-side windows genuinely useful for work, not just games. The tradeoff is a color gamut that's good but not exceptional, so creative professionals should look elsewhere.

Why It Still Holds Up

The 1900R curve wraps the periphery into your vision without feeling gimmicky, and 3440x1440 hits a comfortable middle ground between pixel density and GPU demand, a mid-range card can sustain 160fps in most esports titles at this resolution. The stand supports height and tilt adjustment, and dual HDMI plus DisplayPort cover most setups.

Where It Falls Short

Black levels are ordinary IPS-level, so IPS glow is visible in dark rooms, and HDR10 support doesn't come with meaningful local dimming, making it more of a checkbox feature. There's no USB-C or KVM functionality, which some competitors in this price range now include.
