Lindy 2 Port KVM Switch Pro USB 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 with TTU Review
For a 2-port DisplayPort KVM switch where the USB hub and audio don't have to follow the video switch, the Lindy 2 Port KVM Switch Pro with TTU (39304) is built around exactly that independence.
TTU stands for True Transparent USB, and in practice it means you can leave a USB drive or audio device connected to whichever PC you like regardless of which computer currently owns the display - genuinely useful if you're constantly moving peripherals between two machines.
Independent Switching
The 2-port USB 2.0 hub and the 3.5mm speaker/mic pairs switch separately from the video, so your headset audio doesn't have to jump every time you press the display switch button. No MST support means this is single-display 4K only, not a way to drive a multi-monitor spread.
Build & Power
It ships with a proper 9V multi-country power supply (not bus-powered), housed in a metal 165 x 45 x 105mm case that's built to sit on a desk indefinitely rather than travel.
