What is the difference between Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO and Lindy 2 Port KVM Switch Pro USB 2.0,?
The gap that matters here is max resolution single display: Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO 1920x1200 against Lindy 2 Port KVM Switch Pro USB 2.0, 3840x2160, which puts Lindy 2 Port KVM Switch Pro USB 2.0, 72% ahead.
Which should you buy, Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO or Lindy 2 Port KVM Switch Pro USB 2.0,?
Buy the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO for broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is the wrong buy for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. The same goes for control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. It is the wrong buy for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. it is not built for multi-monitor MST setups (not supported) and USB 3.0 peripheral speeds. It is equally the pick for Two-PC desks that want audio/USB peripherals to stay put independent of video switching. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the Lindy 2 Port KVM Switch Pro USB 2.0, (7/10): LINDY's Pro-series 2-port DisplayPort KVM with TTU (True 4K), part of their higher-end professional line.
Where the two are identical
Where they agree, they agree completely, usb hub ports, audio support, displays per computer and kvm segment included, so the decision does not turn on any of those.
