Corsair A115 vs Enermax LIQTECH TR4: which one fits your build
Buy the Corsair A115 for high-end builds needing roughly 240W of air-cooling headroom, though it is the wrong buy for the smallest cases, given the large dual-tower footprint. It also earns its place with Corsair ecosystem buyers who want a flagship air cooler that matches other iCUE components. Avoid it for buyers chasing the single best raw air-cooling performance, where the Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black, covered elsewhere on this site, generally edges ahead. The Enermax LIQTECH TR4 suits AMD Threadripper sTRX4/TR4 workstations and high-core-count HEDT builds, though it is not the pick for mainstream AM4/AM5/LGA1700 builds and budget-focused workstations. Our rating of the Corsair A115 (8.2/10): A capable flagship air cooler whose main draw is fitting neatly into an all-Corsair build rather than leading on raw thermals. Our rating of the Enermax LIQTECH TR4 (8/10): the correct choice for Threadripper, full IHS coverage that generic AM5/LGA1700 coolers can't match.
