Which should you buy, Lenovo Legion Gen 2 USB-C Gaming Dock or OWC Thunderbolt Dock?
The Lenovo Legion Gen 2 USB-C Gaming Dock is the one to take for Gaming laptop owners running external monitors above 60Hz and Legion and other RGB-themed gaming setups, though it is not built for office productivity setups that don't need high refresh rate HDMI and buyers who find RGB lighting distracting on a desk. It is equally the pick for streamers who want a built-in SD card slot for capture footage. It is the wrong buy for enterprise IT fleets, since it has no centralized management or enterprise support. Buy the OWC Thunderbolt Dock for photographers and videographers who import from SD cards daily, though it is the wrong buy for buyers who need microSD or built-in HDMI or DisplayPort outputs and setups requiring more than dual external displays. The same goes for Mac creative workstations needing dual 4K output and fast storage links. Our rating of the Lenovo Legion Gen 2 USB-C Gaming Dock (8/10): the clear pick for Legion or other gaming laptop owners who want high refresh rate external displays.
