Who each one is for
Buy the Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO for budget-conscious desks needing basic isolated switching between 4 DVI machines and legacy DVI workstations that haven't moved to DisplayPort/HDMI, though it is the wrong buy for users needing simultaneous multi-screen viewing (see the CCS-MV4224) and modern DisplayPort/HDMI-only hardware. It is not the one for desks requiring formal NIAP/Common Criteria certification (see the Cybex SC800 line). The Cable Matters 202071 USB 3.0 KVM Switch suits budget 2-PC HDMI switching and home offices sharing one 4K monitor, though it is not the pick for DisplayPort-only monitors and setups needing more than 2 hosts. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO (7/10): an affordable way to add isolated switching to a 4-port DVI desk without paying for certification or multiviewer features.
