Which should you buy, Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO or Raritan SS4-104-DUAL?
The Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO is the one to take for budget-conscious desks needing basic isolated switching between 4 DVI machines and legacy DVI workstations that haven't moved to DisplayPort/HDMI, though it is the wrong buy for users needing simultaneous multi-screen viewing (see the CCS-MV4224) and modern DisplayPort/HDMI-only hardware. It is the wrong buy for desks requiring formal NIAP/Common Criteria certification (see the Cybex SC800 line). Buy the Raritan SS4-104-DUAL for classified analyst workstations needing two isolated monitors per source and government facilities requiring NIAP PP4.0 dual-head secure switching, though it is not the pick for single-monitor secure desks (the RSS4-104 is cheaper) and commercial desks with no certification requirement. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO (7/10): an affordable way to add isolated switching to a 4-port DVI desk without paying for certification or multiviewer features. Our rating of the Raritan SS4-104-DUAL (8.7/10): the dual-monitor answer for secure analyst workstations, with the same rigorous per-channel isolation as Raritan's single-head model.
