Who each one is for
The Adder Technology Adder ALIF1104T suits enterprise IP KVM matrix deployments across many rooms and HDMI workstations needing centralized network-routed access, though it is not the pick for small single-room point-to-point extension needs and DisplayPort or 4K/5K workstation resolutions. The Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM is the one to take for two USB-C laptops sharing a dual-monitor HDMI desk setup and MST/SST dual-display continuity when swapping sources, though it is not built for desktops without USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode output and single-monitor users (dual HDMI output is the whole point here). The same goes for hybrid work switching between a work laptop and personal machine with charging.
