Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 vs Panasonic Toughbook 40: the series id difference
They are built to different briefs, and series id shows it, Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 lenovo-thinkpad-t14-gen5 against Panasonic Toughbook 40 panasonic-toughbook-40.
Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 vs Panasonic Toughbook 40: which one fits your build
The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 is the one to take for IT-serviced corporate fleets, though it is not the pick for graphics-intensive work. The Panasonic Toughbook 40 suits field service, utility and public safety deployments and environments needing drop/dust/water resistance, though it is the wrong buy for buyers wanting a thin, light everyday laptop. Our rating of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 (7.5/10): the ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 is a straightforward corporate laptop with a Core Ultra 7 155U, 16GB of DDR5 and a 14-inch 1920x1080 IPS screen at 1.38 kg. A free SO-DIMM slot supports up to 64GB, and Thunderbolt 4 with WiFi 6E covers docking and wireless. Graphics are integrated, so keep it away from heavy 3D or creative work. There is one M.2 slot and it is occupied by the 512GB drive, and the 60Hz 57Wh configuration is competent rather than exciting.
