Acer Predator XB273U GX Review

Acer Predator XB273U GX 27-inch QHD IPS gaming monitor with 270Hz refresh, 0.5ms response and built-in NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer.

Acer builds this around NVIDIA's Reflex Latency Analyzer, a feature that measures true end-to-end system latency from mouse click to pixel change when paired with a Reflex-enabled GPU and compatible mouse, a genuinely useful diagnostic tool for competitive players chasing every millisecond, not just a marketing checkbox. At 270Hz on IPS, it also sits in an unusually specific refresh tier between the common 240Hz and 360Hz options most competitors offer.

Latency Diagnostics as a Real Feature

Reflex Latency Analyzer gives players actual data on their system's response chain rather than relying on refresh rate alone as a latency proxy, which is valuable for serious competitive tuning.

Comparison to Alternatives

Compared to the ViewSonic Elite XG272-2K, both are 27-inch QHD IPS esports monitors, but Acer's Reflex Latency Analyzer gives it a diagnostic edge ViewSonic doesn't match. Against the AOC AGON PRO AG276QSG2, the Acer trades AOC's Mini-LED backlight for a simpler, more affordable IPS panel focused purely on speed.
