The ASUS ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH is ASUS's foldable portable monitor, a single 17.3-inch OLED panel that folds in half to become a 12.5-inch laptop-sized package with a slot-in Bluetooth keyboard.

This is the most interesting product in this whole roundup because it isn't really trying to be a normal second monitor. Unfolded, it's one continuous 1920x1920 OLED panel you can use as a giant single screen or split as two virtual displays; folded, it packs down small enough to travel like a laptop. It's expensive and the vertical seam is a real ergonomic quirk, but nothing else here does what it does.

The Fold and the Seam

Unlike a dual-screen laptop with a visible bezel gap, the MQ17QH's OLED panel is continuous, so there's no physical seam interrupting the picture, just a soft crease line that's mostly invisible in daily use once you're not staring for it. ASUS ships it with a kickstand cover that lets it stand in a laptop-like clamshell posture with the included Bluetooth keyboard resting on the bottom half.

Picture Quality

Being OLED, blacks are genuinely black and colors pop in a way none of the IPS portable monitors in this list can match. 100% DCI-P3 coverage means it's usable for casual photo and video review, though the square-ish 1920x1920 unfolded resolution isn't ideal for widescreen video without letterboxing.
