Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable

Measurements come from NotebookCheck's review unit with the Core Ultra 7 258V, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, which is the only processor this model is sold with.

The Intel Core Ultra 7 258V has 8 cores (4 performance and 4 efficiency), boosting to 4.8 GHz. The focus is efficiency. Office apps, browsing and light editing feel quick, but long 4K exports take far longer than on H-series processors. Its NPU is rated at 47 TOPS for on-device AI features.

NotebookCheck measured about 30W of sustained CPU power in this chassis. Makers publish the chip rating, but this sustained figure is what long exports actually get. Across the 24 systems NotebookCheck has tested with the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, it averages 555 points in Cinebench 2024 multi-core (range 406 to 660) and 118.7 single-core. Where this laptop lands in that range depends on how much power it lets the chip draw.

PugetBench (creative apps). These are Puget Systems' public results for the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V in its standard test, pooled across every system it was tested in, so this laptop's power limits can move them up or down. Higher is better.

Graphics come from the integrated Intel Arc Graphics 140V. It handles video playback, photo edits and lighter or older games at modest settings.

The twin fans stay close to silent during browsing and video, yet they climb to nearly 47 dB(A) under sustained gaming, louder than most 14-inch ultraportables, and the rear underside can pass 40 C.

Gaming (average across systems). These are NotebookCheck's average frame rates for the Intel Arc Graphics 140V across every system it has tested with this GPU, not this laptop alone. Power limits differ between laptops, so this one can land above or below the average.

Memory: fixed. 32GB of LPDDR5X-8533 is built into the chip package, so buy the amount you will need for the life of the laptop.

Storage: replaceable. One M.2 slot, already in use (M.2 2242), PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe. The bottom panel comes off with eight Torx screws, and Lenovo publishes a service manual.

The 14-inch Flexible OLED panel runs at 2000x1600 (183 pixels per inch) and 120Hz. It is rated at 400 nits. NotebookCheck measured 393 nits with the near-infinite contrast OLED is known for. Color coverage is 100% sRGB and 100% P3, good enough for photo and video work. Response time is 0.5 ms, so motion stays sharp. The panel flickers at 240 Hz (PWM) at lower brightness, which matters if you are sensitive to it.

Rolled out, the screen becomes 16.7 inches at 2000x2350, and NotebookCheck measured 100% sRGB.

Pressing a dedicated key on the keyboard drives a motor that raises the flexible OLED about 10.5 cm, turning the 14-inch 5:4 screen into a tall 16.7-inch portrait panel in roughly five seconds. The extended screen only works in portrait mode at its native resolution: touch input is absent, and Windows blocks changes to scaling, resolution or orientation while the panel is rolled out. The screen does not retract on its own at shutdown, so a user who forgets has to power the laptop back on to roll it down, and the system beeps if the lid is closed while still extended. A faint crease is visible near the middle of the extended panel, similar to foldable phones, and the glossy surface picks up noticeable glare outdoors. In daily use the taller screen proved so handy for browsing and stacking windows that the reviewer rarely wanted to go back to the 14-inch mode, and it needs no extra desk space or accessories.

NotebookCheck measured 46.7 dB(A) under load and 23.2 dB(A) at idle. Plan on headphones when gaming. The hottest surface reached 43 °C.

The battery is 66Wh, as large as any business laptop we list. NotebookCheck got 10 hours 18 minutes of Wi-Fi browsing. A full charge takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. Lenovo's own battery rating: MobileMark 30 at 250 nits: 11.7 h; local 1080p video at 150 nits: 14.9 h. Fast charging: Rapid Charge, up to 80% in 1 hour (with system off, standby or hibernation).

Materials: Anodized CNC aluminum top and bottom (50% recycled aluminum bottom cover), Luna Gray dual-tone. At 1.69 kg it is heavier than 95% of the business laptops we list. It measures 303.5x230.6x19.9 mm. The hinge opens to only about 120 degrees and feels somewhat fragile with the screen extended, since the center of gravity shifts upward; adjusting the angle in extended mode is discouraged.

The aluminum chassis carries MIL-STD-810H certification and the base is solid, but the lid flexes more than on conventional laptops because the OLED has no Gorilla Glass backing.

The spill-resistant keyboard has 1.0mm of travel and feels like a typical IdeaPad or ThinkBook board, softer and shallower than a ThinkPad, though the newer centered key legends are larger and easier to read. It has a smart keyboard backlight.

The 12 x 7.5 cm glass haptic touchpad gives phone-style vibration feedback instead of a physical click and works reliably, but it feels short for vertical cursor travel once the screen is extended. Sign-in: Fingerprint reader in power button (match-on-chip), IR camera for Windows Hello.

It has 2x Thunderbolt 4, which runs docks, fast external drives and displays over one cable. It charges over USB-C.

Full list: 2x USB-C Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 40Gbps, 1x 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack. Wireless: Wi-Fi 7 802.11be 2x2 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Webcam: 5MP + IR with electronic shutter, ToF sensor. Speakers: Stereo 2x 2W, Dolby Atmos, harman/kardon.

The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable name covers several builds. Memory: 32GB LPDDR5X-8533 on package only, not upgradable. Check the exact configuration on the listing before you buy.

As of September 2026 no rollable successor has been released; the newest ThinkBook Plus is the Gen 7 Auto Twist (a rotating 14-inch OLED, not rollable), so the Gen 6 Rollable remains Lenovo's current rollable laptop.
