Which should you buy, Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO or ATEN KG0032?
Buy the Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO for budget-conscious desks needing basic isolated switching between 4 DVI machines and legacy DVI workstations that haven't moved to DisplayPort/HDMI, though it is the wrong buy for users needing simultaneous multi-screen viewing (see the CCS-MV4224) and modern DisplayPort/HDMI-only hardware. Avoid it for desks requiring formal NIAP/Common Criteria certification (see the Cybex SC800 line). The ATEN KG0032 is the one to take for large-scale centrally managed data centers and software-defined KVM access across many racks, though it is not built for home office use and single-desk setups. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO (7/10): an affordable way to add isolated switching to a 4-port DVI desk without paying for certification or multiviewer features. Our rating of the ATEN KG0032 (8.4/10): A strong choice for large-scale, centrally managed data centers standardizing on ATEN's OmniBus software, though it requires that ecosystem investment to be worthwhile.
