Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO vs Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM Switch: Comparison
What is the difference between Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO and Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM?
Start with max resolution, because it is the widest measured gap between them: Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO 2560x1600 against Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM 3840x2160, 51% in favour of Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM. Capability Score backs the spec sheet up. Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM scores 5.3 to 4, 25% clear.
Which should you buy, Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO or Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM?
Buy the Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO for budget-conscious desks needing basic isolated switching between 4 DVI machines and legacy DVI workstations that haven't moved to DisplayPort/HDMI, though it is not built for users needing simultaneous multi-screen viewing (see the CCS-MV4224) and modern DisplayPort/HDMI-only hardware. It is not the one for desks requiring formal NIAP/Common Criteria certification (see the Cybex SC800 line). The Lindy 2 Port Type C Dual HDMI 4K60 KVM suits two USB-C laptops sharing a dual-monitor HDMI desk setup and MST/SST dual-display continuity when swapping sources, though it is the wrong buy for desktops without USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode output and single-monitor users (dual HDMI output is the whole point here). The same goes for hybrid work switching between a work laptop and personal machine with charging.
