Who each one is for
The Adder Technology Adder ADDERView PRO suits budget-conscious desks needing basic isolated switching between 4 DVI machines and legacy DVI workstations that haven't moved to DisplayPort/HDMI, though it is not built for users needing simultaneous multi-screen viewing (see the CCS-MV4224) and modern DisplayPort/HDMI-only hardware. Avoid it for desks requiring formal NIAP/Common Criteria certification (see the Cybex SC800 line). Buy the Raritan Secure Switch RSS-102C4K for classified 2-network desks needing 4K HDMI video and audio switching and government facilities requiring both smart card auth and tamper-evident hardware, though it is not the pick for desks needing more than 2 connected computers and general commercial office use with no security clearance requirement. It is not the one for budget-constrained secure deployments (the RSS-1024K is cheaper without smart card support).
