Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO AV4PRO vs ATEN KL1516AiN: Comparison

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs ATEN KL1516AiN max resolution compared

Start with max resolution, because it is the widest measured gap between them: Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO 1920x1200 against ATEN KL1516AiN 1920x1080, 10% in favour of Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO. Add max resolution single display to that, 1920x1200 on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus 1920x1080 on the ATEN KL1516AiN, and the pattern holds.

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs ATEN KL1516AiN: which one fits your build

The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO suits broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is the wrong buy for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It is equally the pick for control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. It is not the one for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. The ATEN KL1516AiN is the one to take for racks needing the largest local display plus remote IP access and 16-server data center consolidation, though it is not the pick for home office use and single-desk setups. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the ATEN KL1516AiN (8.4/10): the flagship of ATEN's console-drawer-over-IP line, combining a spacious 19-inch display with solid 16-port IP capability for data centers wanting the best of both local and remote access.
