Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO AV4PRO vs CKL CKL-62TH: Comparison

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs CKL CKL-62TH max resolution single display compared

Start with max resolution single display, because it is the widest measured gap between them: Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO 1920x1200 against CKL CKL-62TH 3840x2160, 72% in favour of CKL CKL-62TH. Add usb hub ports to that, 2 on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus 1 on the CKL CKL-62TH, and the pattern holds. They differ on video standard too, DVI-I / VGA on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus Mixed on the CKL CKL-62TH.

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs CKL CKL-62TH: which one fits your build

The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO suits broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is not built for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It also earns its place with control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. It is not the one for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. The CKL CKL-62TH is the one to take for laptop + desktop desk setups and single-monitor budget switching, though it is the wrong buy for dual-monitor setups and USB 3.0 peripheral speeds. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the CKL CKL-62TH (6/10): A USB-C plus HDMI 2-port switch, CKL's mixed-input answer for a 2-computer desk with different video connectors.
