Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO AV4PRO vs ATEN KN1116VA: Comparison

What is the difference between Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO and ATEN KN1116VA?

The gap that matters here is usb hub ports: Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO 2 against ATEN KN1116VA 3, which puts ATEN KN1116VA 33% ahead.

Who each one is for

The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO suits broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is the wrong buy for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It also earns its place with control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. Avoid it for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. Buy the ATEN KN1116VA for teams with one remote admin at a time and remote OS recovery with virtual media, though it is not built for home office use and racks of eight servers or fewer. The same goes for racks of nine to sixteen servers with A and B power feeds. It is not the one for teams needing two or more remote admins on different servers at once. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the ATEN KN1116VA (8.4/10): A larger-capacity, power-redundant IP KVM switch well suited to tier III/IV data centers scaling past 8 ports without sacrificing uptime resilience.
