Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO AV4PRO vs ATEN KG0032: Comparison

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs ATEN KG0032: the usb hub ports difference

There is no decisive spec gap here. Usb hub ports splits them by a margin most buyers will never feel, Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO 2 against ATEN KG0032 0. There is a split on video standard as well, DVI-I / VGA on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus VGA/DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort on the ATEN KG0032. Kvm segment is not the same on both, Desk on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus KVM over IP on the ATEN KG0032.

Who each one is for

The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO suits broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is the wrong buy for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It is equally the pick for control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. It is not the one for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. Buy the ATEN KG0032 for large-scale centrally managed data centers and software-defined KVM access across many racks, though it is not built for home office use and single-desk setups. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the ATEN KG0032 (8.4/10): A strong choice for large-scale, centrally managed data centers standardizing on ATEN's OmniBus software, though it requires that ecosystem investment to be worthwhile.
