Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO AV4PRO vs CKL CKL-622DP-MST: Comparison

What is the difference between Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO and CKL CKL-622DP-MST?

The gap that matters here is max resolution single display: Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO 1920x1200 against CKL CKL-622DP-MST 3840x2160, which puts CKL CKL-622DP-MST 72% ahead. Video standard is not the same on both, DVI-I / VGA on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus DisplayPort 1.4 on the CKL CKL-622DP-MST.

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs CKL CKL-622DP-MST: which one fits your build

Buy the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO for broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is the wrong buy for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It also earns its place with control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. Avoid it for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. The CKL CKL-622DP-MST is the one to take for budget-conscious dual-monitor, two-computer setups, though it is not built for buyers needing more than two monitors. The same goes for laptops and compact desktops with only a single DisplayPort output wanting dual-monitor switching. It is not the one for computers with two native DisplayPort outputs already, CKL's matrix 622DP-M offers more routing flexibility there. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the CKL CKL-622DP-MST (7/10): A useful DisplayPort MST KVM switch for dual-monitor setups where source computers only have one DisplayPort output.
