Which should you buy, Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO or CKL CKL-822UA-3?

Buy the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO for broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is not built for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It also earns its place with control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. It is not the one for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. The CKL CKL-822UA-3 suits legacy VGA dual-monitor equipment and industrial or lab PCs without digital video outputs, though it is the wrong buy for HDMI or DisplayPort setups and high-resolution modern displays. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the CKL CKL-822UA-3 (5.7/10): an older 2-port dual-monitor VGA KVM capped at 2048x1536, a legacy-resolution pick for VGA-only setups rather than a modern display.
