Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs IOGEAR CS1924A: the max resolution single display difference

Which should you buy, Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO or IOGEAR CS1924A?

The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO suits broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is the wrong buy for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It is equally the pick for control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. Avoid it for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. The IOGEAR CS1924A is the one to take for government and enterprise buyers needing TAA-compliant high-resolution KVM hardware. The same goes for professional desks with a single 8K-capable monitor shared across four computers. It is the wrong buy for dual-monitor workstations, the CS1942DPA covers that need across two computers instead of four. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the IOGEAR CS1924A (8/10): A rare combination of 4-port switching and 8K resolution headroom, aimed at professional single-monitor, multi-machine desks.
