Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO AV4PRO vs NTI (Network Technologies Inc) NTI VOPEX-2KVIM-A: Comparison

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs NTI (Network Technologies Inc) NTI: the max resolution difference

They differ on computers supported too, 4 computers, cascadable to 8 on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus 1 computers on the NTI (Network Technologies Inc) NTI. They differ on video standard too, DVI-I / VGA on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus VGA on the NTI (Network Technologies Inc) NTI.

Who each one is for

The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO is the one to take for broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is not built for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. The same goes for control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. Avoid it for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. The NTI (Network Technologies Inc) NTI suits industrial control rooms with legacy PS/2-only keyboard/mouse hardware and embedded systems that haven't migrated to USB console interfaces, though it is not the pick for modern USB-console machines (see the NTI VOPEX-USBV-2) and desks needing more than 2 ports (see the ATEN CS84U). Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the NTI (Network Technologies Inc) NTI (6/10): A dependable niche PS/2 switch for the remaining installed base of legacy industrial and embedded hardware.

Where the two are identical

The common ground is wider than the gap: max resolution single display, displays per computer and kvm segment are identical here.
