Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO AV4PRO vs Raritan SS4-104-DUAL: Comparison

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs Raritan SS4-104-DUAL: the usb hub ports difference

There is no decisive spec gap here. Usb hub ports splits them by a margin most buyers will never feel, Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO 2 against Raritan SS4-104-DUAL 0. There is a split on kvm segment as well, Desk on the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO versus Secure on the Raritan SS4-104-DUAL.

Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO vs Raritan SS4-104-DUAL: which one fits your build

The Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO is the one to take for broadcast and security operations needing rack-mounted, RS232-controllable switching, though it is not the pick for single-desk users who only need to switch between two computers and buyers needing HDMI or DisplayPort instead of DVI/VGA. It is equally the pick for control room and NOC operators managing 4-8 machines across multiple monitors. It is the wrong buy for budget shoppers, since modular head configurations cost more than a fixed 4-port switch. Buy the Raritan SS4-104-DUAL for classified analyst workstations needing two isolated monitors per source and government facilities requiring NIAP PP4.0 dual-head secure switching, though it is not built for single-monitor secure desks (the RSS4-104 is cheaper) and commercial desks with no certification requirement. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder AdderView PRO (8/10): A serious modular KVM built for control rooms that need to scale past 4 computers, overkill for a simple desk setup. Our rating of the Raritan SS4-104-DUAL (8.7/10): the dual-monitor answer for secure analyst workstations, with the same rigorous per-channel isolation as Raritan's single-head model.
